CRNE Prep course-Vancouver

Spots are still available for this weekend's (September 15-16, 2012) PRIMED CRNE review workshop in Vancouver, BC. The two day course is taking place in downtown Vancouver at the Harbourfront campus of SFU on West Hastings St.

The facilitators for your course will be the co-founders of PRIMED-Marlene Burrows RN, BSN, MN-NP(F) & Laura Housden RN, BSN, MN-NP(F). These two facilitators complement each other nicely as Marlene has experience in acute care settings and Laura has practiced a lot in the community setting. Marlene has been teaching for five years at different universities including Dalhousie and UBC. Laura has teaching experience as well, but currently is focusing her time on her PhD studies at UBC. Let Laura and Marlene help you review your core nursing knowledge and help you learn how to better approach and answer question on the CRNE. All registrants will receive a 200 page course booklet designed specifically for the course.

Rewriting the CRNE

If you were unsuccessful on the CRNE, you are not alone. For various reasons some students are unsuccessful on the exam and are devastated with their result. Perhaps you were overly anxious, fatigued, ill or had other life altering factors that did not allow you to focus and perform your best.We want to let you know that you are not alone. We hear from many students that are unsuccessful and many times all they need is structured review course to help them focus their studying and increase their confidence and decrease their anxiety.

PRIMED has a lot of experience in helping unsuccessful students become successful. We encourage students to reach out to other students, mentors or teachers for support. In addition, students may want to consider enrolling in the PRIMED Workshops or private tutoring to increase their chance of being successful on the rewrite.
