Spots still available for PRIMED CRNE Prep Course!

It’s not too late!

I know that the last week of summer makes us all feel a little lazy and we can tend to put things off, but the CRNE is right around the corner! If you haven’t registered for a PRIMED course coming up in September, you may not know what you still need to focus on with your studying. It’s better to focus on your areas of weakness at this point in the game and what better way to find your strengths and weaknesses than in one of the courses. The instructors go through all the competencies and make sure you are totally PRIMED for your exam!

Now is the time to register and ensure you are 100% ready for your exam and entry into practice!
If you’re wanting more information about what is expected of you when you DO enter practice as an RN, the College of Registered Nurses of Ontario has a great pdf with all the competencies that you should have: http://www.cno.org/Global/docs/reg/41037_EntryToPracitic_final.pdf

Another important thing to remember is to keep getting your exercise, sleep and proper nutrition. These are the things that are easiest to drop when you’re finding you have little time but keeping up your healthy routines will definitely help you in the long run!

Happy studying! Hope to see you in one of our September courses.

Get PRIMED for your CRNE exam; you’ll never regret being more prepared!

Hello world! I am the new student blogger here with PRIMED. I’m going to be writing about current issues in nursing, up coming opportunities to get prepared for the CNRE, and experiences of being a student.
So, a little bit about me… I am a 3rd year student in a BScN program. I have an interest in community/ public health nursing. I dabbled in a few other university programs before settling on nursing. One day I want to travel to developing countries to volunteer my nursing services, but I need to graduate and build my nest egg a bit first. I’m passionate about health care equity, and I believe in the power of ordinary people who are brave enough to do the right thing, even when it’s hard.
I am open to your suggestions! If you have a topic that other people would be interested in, or you just want to let me know what you think you can also follow PRIMED on Twitter @crneprep and I can tweet you back

I look forward to sharing with you!
